The WiHTL & DiR Inclusion Summit is a multi-faceted celebration of diversity and inclusion in the hospitality, travel, leisure and retail sectors. Taking place on 1st November 2022 in the heart of London at the ODEON LUXE Leicester Square, this in-person event brings together members of our WiHTL and Diversity in Retail Collaboration Communities.

In the fabulous surroundings of this iconic venue, a packed agenda includes keynote addresses, panel discussions and the launch of WiHTL and DiR’s Annual Report.

The day will conclude with a drinks reception in the convivial setting of Oscar’s Bar to toast our five-year anniversary, the incredible progress we have made together as a community this year, and will be a fantastic opportunity for attendees to network among industry peers.

The Summit objective is to showcase the significant benefits of inclusive cultures and to shine the spotlight on the tangible progress which has been made among our member organisations over the past twelve months. This event is a celebration of the diverse talent in our industry, some of whom we have had the extraordinary pleasure of meeting during our leadership development programmes: the Ethnic Future Leaders Programme, the Ethnic Senior Leaders Programme and the Global Female Leader Programme. Their achievements have been inspirational and worthy of on-going recognition within our HTL and Retail Communities.


A host of expert speakers and panelists from across the D&I spectrum will lead conversations ranging from gender to race and ethnicity, from LGBTQ+ to social mobility, and from age to disability and wellbeing. Building on our past successes, we want to look to the future by setting new, industry-wide objectives based, in part, on collaborative input from those attending the Summit. By joining in, attendees will help us shape the next steps in our diverse industry.
